Pagani

Pagani

Today we were able to tour the hypercar manufacturer Pagani. When we first started the tour we sat and listened to a short documentary on Pagani himself. In the video, they interviewed one of Pagani’s lifelong best friends. He brought us through how Pagani got to where he is now—starting by designing cars as children and playing with them in the street. He then talked about how they designed their first racecar. To eventually recognized by Ferrari which allowed him to work with Lamborghini. Soon after working with Lamborghini, Pagni went out on his own and bought an autoclave which allowed him to build his cars fully out of carbon fiber. The best friend made sure to note that Pagni always achieved what he wanted and was a perfectionist.

Pagani’s Personal Car

The image below is of Pagani’s first racecar. He designed and built this car from scratch. Pagani was strict about obtaining the number “1” on the car because he believed if he didn’t the media would not pay attention to them. His friend said this is just one example of how Pagani always got what he wanted.

Pagni’s First Racecar

The image below is of one of Pagani’s limited edition cars. The Zonda Cinque Roadster was released in 2010. This car has a V12 AMG engine with 678 horsepower. The most amazing about this car to me was that there are only 4. One of those is in this picture. The current price is 7 million if one of the collectors chooses to sell which is unlikely.

This last image and the featured image is of the Pagani Huarya one of the most recent cars produced by Pagani. This was the first Pagani to be produced with vertical doors.

For the rest of the tour, we had to put our phones away. This is where able to see the manufacturing facility. Every step of the process from the carbon fiber being shaped to the body of the car to the assembly of the car. We were also able to see many other models. Including prototypes and other limited edition models. Overall, this experience was phenomenal and one of a kind. We were able to see cars that very few people will ever get to see in person. Cars worth millions of dollars. I am truly grateful for this tour and will remember it forever!
